I swear I shuffled, a lot. Today's card again is the Strength card. This has always been one of my favorite cards. I am fascinated with cats, especially the big ones like lions, cougars, and tigers. I was born in the year of the Tiger, according to Chinese Astrology. So this card, which depicts a large African male lion, strikes a chord for me. Besides it is a very positive card.
Strength is what allows you to hold on, even when you think it is well passed time to let things go. I thought about this card for a long time yesterday. There are times in our lives when you have to allow things to unfold, either because you can't do anything to stop them or because you know this is a situation that you must allow to happen. I think I'm facing one of those times now. No matter how much I want to step in and fix things I don't think I have the ability to do it, and if I did it wouldn't be the right thing to do. This is one of the wisdom to know the difference times. So Strength can mean inner strength to allow things to happen as they should.
